Top 5 CDs of 2008

With the open opportunity to get music off line for free now a days, not many people are buying Cd's anymore. In 2008 there were a variety of artist that released new albums. I can honestly say that I have no purchased a Cd in about six years. I am, however, aware of what is going on in the hot and upcoming music world. Looking back I can name five recently released Cd's that I enjoyed.
My favorite Cd released in 2008 would be "Fearless" by Taylor Swift. I have admired Taylor Swift as an artist since her first album released in 2006. Since I am the same age as her, I feel like I can relate to her lyrics and she is such a well respected celebrity. Rihanna last Cd was released in 2007, but it is one of my favorite albums "Good Girl Gone Bad." Rihanna is such a strong and confident young women who really inspires me to be different and motivates me to venture outside the box. Third, Brittney Spears latest album "Circus" was released in 2008. After everything that has happened to her over the past few years, she was able to pick up her life and make an amazing new album that shows how she is still the strong icon she was when she was sixteen. Fourth, even though she is mocked in society, and may have a younger demographics, but Miley Cyrus's latest album "Breakout" does not get the credit it deserves. With this album Miley showed how she is ready to be taken serious as an artist, and that is something that most people are not admiring, like they should. Last, my fifth favorite Cd released would be by the new artist Lady Gaga's album " The Fame." Her upbeat, fun to dance to songs are played all over the radios and popular on college campuses. Her first song on the album "Just Dance" is frequently played in my room. The beats to her songs are very mood boosting to listen to.

2009 Super Bowl

Usually during a televison show, movie, or sprots game commericals can be the most annoying part, but during the Super Bowl, the commerical are funny and entertaining. The ones that alwasy seem to watch my attention are the ones with catchy pop songs. Pepsi, Bridgstone, and LifeWater all used upbeat songs to sell their product.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=anLqu77uTH0 Humor is another enjoyable quality found in many Super Bowl commericals. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-qbQBeiXmwsDoritos, Petigree, and Monster.com used this approach to capture viewers attention. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tf3EjZKQ0rU This youtube post of top 10 funniest super bowl commericals has a lot of the same commericals in it that I have mentioned. The ones the did not really catch my attentions were all the car commericals. Hyundai and Audi aired about three times each. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sx9RSV8iyfM- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2xd0Tw9wOB4

I think that the most famous of the super bowl commericals broadcasted this year was the cock zero commerical with Troy Polamalu. Not only is Polamalu on of the most popular memebers of the Steelers football team, he is an icon for many young boys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ARYHDICm1a4
